that post is still there (or perhaps you made it again?)

there are other threads popping up on their forum now about the horrid treatment from customer service. Doubt they will 'get' it, but you dont normally piss off your customer base and the expect them to keep giving you money.

They will never see another penny from me or my family.

I can honestly say now I wish I never gave you money for GW2. You will never see another cent of my hard earned money after seeing how you treat your 10+ yr old customers. People like me are stacking up soon you’ll feel it in your fat 6mil/month wallet. Albeit small but you will. How can you just ban innocent people by the hundreds & not make an announcement or give them reasons why? Wait some got an automated response which won’t do in the least. It’s time you stopped beating around the bush ArenaNet. Stand up & answer your loyal customers.

Do you think this fair? I sure don’t. Neither do the hundreds of loyal innocents that were victims of Shazbawts “flawless ban methods”. It’s apparent there’s flaws. He stated “it was getting out of hand” & he also said “I like botting mmo’s as much as anyone else”. But I don’t think you understand the severity he has gone to. Banning totally innocent players does not help you with further business ventures. You think any of them will give you more money for any of your companies? Hardly.

I know someone will see this before you remove it then maybe you’ll view it elsewhere & hope it reaches someone with some heart.

Fix this Anet & trash your Eula while your at it cause it’s trash.

perhaps someone with twitter or the like should start posting this stuff someplace else so others besides the few who log into guru (or the ban happy official gw2 mods) can see it.....get it viral and then perhaps there will be a response from anet.

Or me and my family. We were dropping at least $100 a week on GW2 between the two of us, have now installed WoW, something I've sworn for all my life I'd never do. GG Anet, succesfully chased a dedicated fan away. You dont deserve my money after what you've done.
Saves us the trouble of buying HoT for all our accounts, I guess.

Dumb question but if we choose to purchase shop items for guild wars 1...is that a better way to support the original game or does none of that money go to any of the excellent devs that have now left?

Love gw1...i wish we could buy it from arenanet and free it from their grasp.

InfiniteRetro: the company is still being headed by the same person as it used to be 10 years ago, however, the number of employees directly involved in provision of the new updates for the game has been reduced to about 5 people. Some of the original team's members such as Mike O'Brien, Joe Kimmes or Gaile Gray are still out there, working for the company, though as of now, ArenaNet is mainly focused on preparing the launch of Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns expansion. Answering your question - yes, chances are high that your purchases from the Store will support the shipment of future updates for the game.

and yes, any moneys they are taking in are not going to support this game--its all going to the other one.

This will work though; If they have to manually remove it they know; and since they are all in an office (IF mods & support team are... i dunno), talk can spread. I think this is a good way of putting pressure.

Having said that I have nothing to do with this; we are fine account wise; I'm just interested in this 'community action'.

actually the mod who is deleting the threads has no connection to the rest of the CS team--he is just a mod on a forum. What he does never goes farther than whomever he may tell over the watercooler. The folks who make the decisions dont bother reading the forum (at least not officially), so it will only go as far as the mod who deleted the thread sadly.

But they may only be allowed to soft delete in which case it's held in the admin section so chances are it'll be seen there when higher ups go through them.

I'm just gonna leave this here for anyone who thinks GW is dead; that's not the case, it's just nobody likes Guru, not even GW2Guru. https://www.facebook.com/groups/GWANH/ (Very active users).

OP: Their customer service is utter shit. I mean, if I'm asking for help to buy something or gems, they answer me pretty much within 24 hours, if it's anything else thought, they don't. But as a big company, they have departments. Anything involving accounts must be super overloaded or they just don't wanna answer all the GW1 players.

cant access that...I dont have fb.

and as for the cs departments...there is one side for gw2 and another for gw (the janitor and his friend), easy questions are pushed to the front (ones that involve them getting more money from you) while most others are put into a cue--which they go thru at a snails pace. Seems our janitor may be on vacation or been told to just ignore anything other than password resets.

and yes, this is horrendous customer service in any book! (I even got better treatment from united airlines and they are some of the worse cs people in the world and yes, I used to work in cs, this is unacceptable!)

well, if anyone wants to make a new thread, now would be a good time of day to do it, since the whole anet staff are probably at home in the little beds dreaming.... (it is 1:30am there)...and the thread would have a few hours before it gets nuked again.

When me and my friends were going through Nightfall,Factions,Eotn and Prophecies about 1 month ago, we were so excited to spot any human players in the mission outposts. That is often not the case at all, 99% of the time there's just no one in the outposts.

As I have stated in my post, once they get your money, they toss you out. They no longer care about customer loyalty. This is not the way a well establish business runs their business. For example look at Southwest Airline, the comparison in customer service is heaven and earth.
"For anyone" does not necessarily mean YOU.
